GAPA Presents Runway 2024: Chrysalis

GAPA Runway 2024 takes place on September 14, 2024 at 7PM, Herbst Theatre (401 Van Ness Ave, San Francisco, CA). A VIP Reception for honored guests will be held at 5:30PM at the same venue.

Join us for a night of fashion, glamor, and entertainment as we celebrate the artistry, talent, and humanity of our Queer & Trans Asian & Pacific Islander (QTAPI) community! Contestants from all walks of life will demonstrate their talents, show off their evening wear, and answer Q&A questions to compete to become GAPA Royalty. Our reigning Mx. GAPA 2023, Lotus Party (he/she/they) @lotusparty, and reigning Ms. GAPA 2023, Kiki Krunch (she/her) @mxkikikrunch, will be stepping down and welcoming the next generation of title holders! 

GAPA Runway sprang from an underground dance party held in 1988 for queer APIs to gather at a time when mainstream LGBTQ establishments would keep us out. As GAPA's crown jewel event, Runway is not an event to be missed!
