Around the Community | PASIFIKA MOVES

Location: Meet at the Rose Garden in Golden Gate Park

Pasifika Moves is a community-building event intended for Pacific Islander individuals, families, and youth who are looking to connect to other Islanders in the Bay Area on gentle (but fun!) walks and strolls in safe, outdoor locations in San Francisco. This is a beginner friendly event. No equipment is necessary. Kids and pets are welcome. Scooters, roller skates, and kids’ bikes are all good!

This event will take place on the JFK Promenade in Golden Gate Park. This 1-mile stroll starts at the Rose Garden entrance to the Promenade. JFK Promenade is pedestrian and bicycle zone free from automobile traffic. Everyone is encourage to walk or roll at their own pace. Stay for a post-stroll hangout at the 14th Ave Picnic Meadow in the park to share in snacks and group games.

All Pacific Islanders are welcome to this LGBTQIA+ friendly event. Come meet some new friends, get moving with low-impact exercise and games with prizes, and have fun!
