Together We'll Make It: Make an Impact at KSW!
We believe art will continue to make up the tapestry of resistance and resilience we need so deeply now, and we’re writing to you because we think you believe this too. We are reaching out on behalf of KSW to ask you to put that belief into action. Calling all friends of KSW: will you start a mini-fundraiser on Give Butter today?
START YOUR FUNDRAISER
HOW TO START A GIVE BUTTER CAMPAIGN:
All you have to do to sign up is click the ‘Fundraise’ button under Team Members here: https://givebutter.com/MAKEIT/join (you may be prompted to start an account)
Then, set a monetary goal. Fundraising may be out of your comfort zone, but it’s surprisingly easy to do when you believe in the work. Set that $500 goal and see the magic happen.
Write 1-2 sentences about why you want to support KSW and why you think your audiences should too. You can copy and paste one of the following summaries as well:
“Support an organization near and dear to me so Asian Pacific American arts can carry on through the difficult times ahead! Donate to Kearny Street Workshop”
“KSW is a home to so many APA artists, activists, and culture makers. Will you donate to my campaign to support them?
“KSW means a lot to me because __________________. I hope you’ll donate to my fundraiser with a meaningful gift today!
“KSW is an arts organization that I hope you’ll support: will you consider becoming a monthly donor on Give Butter?”
Click ‘Join this Fundraiser’. Here you can email the folks you think will participate &/or post about the fundraiser on your social media and watch the gifts come in. If you can’t start a fundraiser at this time, donate to someone else’s at our Give Butter campaign “Together We’ll Make It” https://givebutter.com/MAKEIT!
We are here because you continue to champion the arts, sharing our belief that art is at the heart of how we will make it through. This winter, our campaign is called “Together We'll Make It” and our goal is to raise $25,000. This fundraising goal asks all of us to step up to the plate.

You’d be surprised how much your friends and family want to show up for a worthy cause. So today, will you start a peer-to-peer Give Butter Fundraiser and ask your networks to help you raise $250, $500, or $750 for KSW? This kind of support goes a long way to bring energy and support to our Give Butter campaign. KSW and everything we stand for is still alive, still willing to fight, create, and ‘make it’ because of your generosity.

If you can’t start a fundraiser at this time, donate a meaningful gift to someone else’s fundraiser at our Give Butter campaign! Alternatively you can find us at your bank online through Zelle (info@kearnystreet.org), or at Paypal Giving Fund (no fees). Our goal is to raise $25,000 in donations this year!
