Arc supports the making of quality art in all media, provides a nurturing environment for artists to create their work, builds a community of artists to encourage exploration of art, provides resources for the professional development of visual artists, and promotes appreciation of the visual arts in the city of San Francisco.
SOMA PILIPINAS IS A CELEBRATION OF WHERE WE COME FROM, AND WHERE WE ARE GOING. Our Cultural Heritage District is a product of its people, who are resilient, creative, and determined. We live, work, play and gather here as a community. SOMA Pilipinas is a movement that is anchored in the neighborhood, our history and our people. It is a place that connects the broader community to our narrative and stories as Filipinos in America. It is a living culture — a community that's conscious of history, yet embraces progress,working together to move forward in unity and vision.Through extensive community input, we have developed a series of plans to build-out our Cultural Heritage District in the coming years.
Balay Kreative was founded with the goal of increasing community-responsive programs for artistic development and artist sustainability within the Filipinx Community. We are looking for an intern to assist in the programming of Kreative Growth: MasterClass.

UNDISCOVERED SF is part of a multi-prong strategy to build a thriving new commercial corridor in the SOMA Pilipinas cultural district by 2020. We envision incubating a batch of innovative retail concepts, award-winning restaurants, and neighborhood serving businesses that are culturally relevant, financially resilient, and adaptable to the market needs of all San Franciscans.

The Center for Asian American Media is a nonprofit organization dedicated to presenting stories that convey the richness and diversity of Asian American experiences to the broadest audience possible. We do this by funding, producing, distributing and exhibiting works in film, television and digital media. For 40 years, CAAM has exposed audiences to new voices and communities, advancing our collective understanding of the American experience through programs specifically designed to engage the Asian American community and the public at large.
Originally opened in 1989, Bindlestiff Studio became the only permanent, community-based performing arts venue in the nation dedicated to showcasing emerging Filipino American and Pilipino artists. Bindlestiff Studio provides the often under-served Filipino American community access to diverse offerings in theatrical productions, music and film festivals, workshops in directing, production, acting, stand-up comedy, and writing, as well as a children and youth theater program.
Kundiman is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing generations of writers and readers of Asian American literature. Kundiman creates a space where Asian Americans can explore, through art, the unique challenges that face the new and ever changing diaspora. We see the arts as a tool of empowerment, of education and liberation, of addressing proactively the legacy we will leave for our future.
