2018 Cohort Welcome Page

Congratulations on becoming a part of IWL 2018. On behalf of Kearny Street Workshop and the Asian Art Museum, we’d like to welcome you to the cohort. You were chosen based on the strength of your submission and our belief that you would be able to add a necessary dynamic to this group that would serve to benefit your mutual development over the course of the program.

Your instructors for IWL 2018 will be Javier Zamora, Aimee Suzara and Dickson Lam. Jason Bayani from Kearny Street Workshop will be overseeing the program. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the program, administration, attendance, or anything that’s not attached to the weekly lesson plans, please address those to Jason and not the instructors. His contact information will be attached to this packet.

Please take note of the attached class schedule. We request that you attend all class sessions, and miss no more than one class (two in case of emergency) as your participation is integral to the cohort’s experience. We do understand that life happens so please let Jason Bayani know if anything comes up.

Lastly, please fill out the very brief form at the bottom of the page, indicating your review of and agreement with the information.

On behalf of the KSW team, we’re very excited to have you as part of IWL. We hope this will be a challenging and fruitful experience for all of you. Know that we are here to support you throughout the process and we look forward to the work you will be creating.

Sincerely,

Jason Bayani | KSW
