APAture 2025 GPC Kick-off Meeting

APAture—Kearny Street Workshop’s annual, multi-disciplinary festival for emerging Asian/Pacific American artists—returns this October, and the community needs YOU to help make it a success. Joining the General Planning Committee is a unique opportunity for developing organizers, curators, and art appreciators to empower and showcase talented emerging artists in our communities.

As a GPC member, you'll contribute to APAture as an organizer, juror, curator, and creative thinker. You'll get to meet some amazing people, learn new skills, and help your fellow artists take the next step in their artistic career. 

We are looking for people who are interested in curating, outreach, event organizing, hosting, marketing, fundraising, networking, and administration. Our first meeting is coming up on March 12th. It’s a chance to learn what APAture is all about and see if joining the committee is right for you.

We believe that art only truly thrives because of community. We can’t wait to see what your contributions will bring to enrich APAture in innovative ways in 2025!
