Interdisciplinary Writers Lab Submissions Are Now Open (until 3/23)

Interdisciplinary Writers Lab (IWL) is back this summer. KSW’s three month multi-genre master class will take a cohort of 15 BIPOC writers through a unique educational experience in poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction. This year’s instructors are Erica Lewis (poetry), Meng Jin (fiction), and we will be announcing our third instructor in the coming weeks.

This year IWL classes will be held in-person at Arc Gallery & Studios with some weeks online

We are now accepting submissions to be accepted into this program. Submissions close 3/23/24 at 11:59pm.

  • Class Schedule:

    • Session 1 with Erica Lewis (Thursdays): June 5, 12, 19, 26

    • Session 2 with Meng Jin (Wednesdays): July 2, 9, 16, 23

    • Session 3 with TBA (Wednesdays): July 30, Aug 6, 13, 20

  • Tuition is $600 for the entire program

  • Limited scholarships are available (2 full, 2 partial)
