Bao Diep is an artist who was born on the cusp of two different generations, and he uses his art as a way to mediate and bridge the perspectives of both those generations. He only started creating art during the COVID-19 pandemic, then in 2021 moved to San Francisco in order to study, as well as develop his skills as an artist. This event will be his first time showcasing his art.

Havannah Tran is a Vietnamese-American illustrator, designer, and comic-maker based out of Oakland, CA. She works on individual freedom campaigns to stop direct transfers from state prisons to immigrant detention and organizes the APSC Literature Club, a reading program for community members inside of CCWF and CIW, with the Asian Prisoner Support Committee. When she’s not working to free them all, Havannah can be found cheering on the Los Angeles Lakers and stanning BTS.

Jane Trieu is an illustrator + designer based in San Francisco. Experimenting with analog and digital forms, her visual language incorporates saturated colors, patterns, and found ephemera. Often, she finds her inspiration through her home and pop culture.

Jasmin Regato is an undergraduate of CCA and currently studying animation. As an Asian American, she has experienced feelings that is not easy to convey with words, and that is why art became her language when she struggles to connect. She continues to make art as a way to connect her feelings for many other people who feel the same things.

Nicolette is a Bay Area artist with Japanese, Mexican, Irish, and Inuit ancestry. She takes inspiration from her Japanese ancestry and applies it to many aspects of her art. Currently, she works at a movie theater, and is a film curator for Animation Nights New York and SWIFF Film Festival. She works on her art whenever she has spare time, and enjoys making art for her loved ones and helping indie films with poster designing.

Sean Lin is an aspiring illustrator and comics artist, originally born in China and a Bay Area resident since he was 18. His drawings draw inspiration from the intersection of Chinese and American culture, as well as the immigrant experience. Once an airport designer, he now takes flight with pen and paper, crafting tales that traverse borders and ignite imaginations.

Skylar Wang, aka Sapphic Bushtit, is a queer Chinese American artist creating zines about mental health, neurodiversity, birds, and more. Their work is heavily influenced by their personal experience of navigating disability and trauma while getting tired very, very easily. Sapphic Bushtit’s primary 2 goals are 1) to tell stories that resonate with people (and maybe make them laugh), and 2) to spread the joy of birds through photography and illustration. Did they mention they like birds? Because they really, REALLY like birds.

Yuting was born and grew up in Beijing. She went to Israel for collage and came to US in 2014 for a Master's degree in Construction. After graduation, she worked as a construction project manager for 7 years while developing her artistic skills and voice. She has participated in various group shows in the SF Bay Area. This year, she made a pivotal decision to work on her art career full time. She's been working on a series of painting based on the concept of 24 Solar Terms.

Ann Chen makes comics that explore themes of existentialism, identity, and everyday mundanity from a more lighthearted lens. Drawing from personal experiences and random fixations, Ann’s goal is to share the largely inconsequential moments, conversations, and meandering thoughts that they find humorous and hopefully relatable. There's a range of topics - The "Living with Leos" series pokes fun at a certain archetype and highlights a chaotic living situation. "Just Let Go" celebrates knowing when to call it quits, and "Sights from the Concourse" is a more contemplative zine that's an ode to their favorite SF neighborhood.
