Marian Liu is the pop music critic for the San Jose Mercury News. She covers pop, hip hop, punk, dance, and ethnic - well, basically everything you can dance to. She's been backstage talking to artists, inside the car in illegal street races, and next to the surgeon in the operating room. She's interviewed artists from Lil Jon to Jessica Simpson. She's also expanded from print to podcasting, blogging, radio and television -- writing for the national hip-hop magazine Source Magazine and being the segment producer of Asian American culture show Pacific Fusion on Kron 4. She also serves on the Bay Area board of the Asian American Journalists Association. And, in her off-time, she designs jewelry, plays videogames, snowboards and is learning judo.

Christina Luna since 1986 has been an avid piano player and continually surrounds herself with the arts and anyone interested in it. Pete Mar is currently an on-air radio personality at San Francisco’s Alternative rock station, Live 105.  Pete brings a passion for music as well as a unique and often-times, quirky sense of humor to the airwaves of the Bay Area.  Prior to Live 105, Pete wore a size 8 shoe and was a top-rated night personality at Star 101.3 in San Francisco. Along with his on-air duties, Pete utilizes his motor skills at his own production company, Pete Mar Productions, specializing in commercial and radio voice-overs. Another division of the company provides mobile DJ services for weddings and corporate parties. With his company just beginning to flourish, Pete plans to expand his presence into the television industry. As co-host of “nightshift”, Pete brings a passion for music and entertainment to the magazine-style television show. Having interviewed reputable artists such as Muse, Bloc Party, MIA, Lyrics Born and others, Pete is helping establish “nightshift” as one of the few supporters of independent music in today’s corporate-driven music scene.

Often compared to the sounds of Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, and Common, Kero One is a full time deejay, producer, musician, rapper, and record label owner from San Francisco.  Kero One’s professional career began when he released his first 12 single in 2003 called Check the Blueprints. The 12 unexpectedly sold 9,000 units worldwide with funding from only a personal credit card and hardly any marketing push from outside sources. After 4 more 12 single releases, Kero One released his first debut album in 2005 called Windmills Of The soul, garnering the attention of magazines such as Rolling Stone, URB, XlR8R, and Straight No Chaser. The album climbed to number 10 on ITUNES international and Tower Records sales charts while being selected as ..5 best indy album and artist by MSN.com. Now, Kero One is a full-time musician producing tracks for licensing companies, touring Japan and the States, releasing records on his own label with the likes of The Soundproviders, Aloe Blacc from Stonesthrow, and doing remixes for artists such as Grand Puba.
